First of all, Swapna, my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your brother. That is a very hard thing..... and I think that it's wonderful that you are doing so many kind and generous things to remember him.

And, once again, I thank you for your lovely, loving message. You made my day!
thank you thank you

I found your pattern for the earflap baby cap.
Thank you. I volunteer at a local museum and teach crocet classes out there. We are always looking for great projects that are easy for beginners to do. This is perfect!!!

Hi Anna
Don't forget that the caps are very very tiny.... suitable for preemies, as they are designed for the tiny wee heads of low birth weight babies in 3rd world countries.

Thanks for teaching crochet classes! that's great!

I love the hat. My mother (in-law) and I attend a Crochet & Knitting Class in Philadelphia that donates the goods we make to Nursing Homes and for children in shelters, and also for the newborns. The church during their Bazarr time will put out a table in the neigborhood for anyone who wants to stay warm on those cold days. I will be sharing this cute hat with them our next class. Thank you for sharing. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving. May God continue to Bless the hands that help others.

Hello Sophia
Yes, postage is very expensive! Are there women's shelters or homeless shelters or animal shelters in Finland? Forgive me for asking, as I really don't know - not meaning to be rude. If there are any of these shelters, perhaps you could knit and crochet hats, scarves, shawls, mittens, face cloths and socks for them?

The hat is adorable! We have a small group of older women who are totally new to knitting and crocheting. I thought helping the babies would be a worth while project and not TOOO hard for them.

Anyway, have a very Blessed Thanksgiving for you and your family and something blessed for the children overseas.

God bless you.
