A Bee Blessing on the Inkle Loom

The other day when I was out in the yard photographing some inkle weaving, a bee landed on the loom and ambled around. She didn’t seem bothered about me and my camera and she let me photograph her.

I was concerned that she might be having a hard time in the heat, so I sat my camera down so I could bring her a little dish of water, but she flew off and started nuzzling tomato flowers.

I hope that she and all her sisters are doing well, and I am grateful to her for stopping for a little visit.

Life is full of little blessings that make our hearts sing, isn’t it?

  2. Thank you so much, Becky! It was a terrible week as we watched wildfires destroy swaths of the Jasper National Park and a lot of the precious town of Jasper. As well, other friends were evacuated, and still are, without knowing the state of their home because of another huge fire in the mountains…. it was so devastating, and the heat as well as smoke from the fires made life grim here, too…. so it was really helpful to have these little beacons of hope that helped me to sort myself out. These are challenging times that we live in, and so very grateful that there are such lovely people as you, who make the world a better place! Thank you for being you, Becky! big hugs and much love! ❤

Hello Noreen the inkle loom pictured did you take all the threads over the top peg where the heddle threads travel? I like your set up. Nicely done. Susan Rindchen
